Biomedical Multispectral Imaging System
Biomedical Multispectral Imaging System
The biomedical multispectral imaging system includes an MSC2-BIO-1-A multispectral camera with 4 bands suitable for detecting hemoglobin and lipid in research applications. The LED illuminator is equipped with 4 independent channels that are matched to MSC2-BIO-1-A camera. The first channel (735 nm) is sensitive to deoxyhemoglobin (deoxygenated blood). The second channel (800 nm) is sensitive to total hemoglobin (total blood). The third channel (865 nm) is sensitive to oxyhemoglobin (oxygenated blood). The fourth channel (930 nm) is sensitive to lipid. With these four spectral images a number of analysis can be performed including oxygen saturation and total hemoglobin, which are important for monitoring tissue health. Note: the MSIS-BIO-1-A is for investigational purposes only.
Number of Bands | Band Locations | Pixel/Band |
---|---|---|
4 | 735, 800, 865, 930 nm | 512 x 512 |
